We are a registered charity that exists to stimulate interest in, and care for the environment and character of Southborough and High Brooms, its history and the surrounding countryside.
Issue an informative newsletter to members every quarter.
Hold regular meetings - a programme of interesting talks relating to local interests in the autumn and winter and local walks in the summer.
Maintain and exhibit our unique collection of photographs, maps and pictures of Southborough and High Brooms past and present.
Run a website with information about the town's history as well as details of our activities.
Research and write about the history of Southborough and High Brooms.
Work closely with schools in the area.
Undertake projects such as the placing of Green Southborough Plaques to commemorate local people, who have made a significant contribution to society.
Monitor and comment on planning proposals affecting the town.
Maintain an information board in Southborough Library.
Run an annual photographic competition featuring views of Southborough & High Brooms.
